Chief Executive Officer
Brian Palmer joined PowerTeam Services in October 2018 as Chief Executive Officer after serving at General Electric for more than 30 years. Most recently, he spent 10 years as the President and CEO of the Measurement & Controls division of GE Oil & Gas, a provider of critical asset performance, control, and protection solutions for energy and industrial infrastructure with $4.5 billion in revenue. During his tenure, Brian successfully acquired and integrated 11 companies into Measurement & Controls, creating a global leader in the market. Prior to this role, Brian held a number of executive leadership and engineering roles throughout the GE Energy organization. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
W. Thomas Newell
Chief Legal Officer
Tom Newell serves as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary. Mr. Newell joined PowerTeam Services in June 2014. Previously he led the legal and regulatory functions of both private and public companies, such as Top Echelon Contracting, Inc., Gibbs International, Inc. and Advance America, Cash Advance Centers, Inc. Mr. Newell received his undergraduate degree from Duke University and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Akron School of Law.
Vice President, Safety
Joseph Branco serves as Vice President of Safety. Mr. Branco joined PowerTeam Services in November 2016. Previously he was Director of Safety - Power Division for Quanta Services and has held positions at MYR Group and Henkels & McCoy. Mr. Branco received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Pennsylvania State University and also holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
Vice President, Human Resources
Mickey Hanner serves as Vice President of Human Resources. Mr. Hanner joined PowerTeam Services in May 2015. His background includes serving as a global Human Resources Business Partner supporting operations in China, Brazil and the U.S. with Eaton’s Cooper Power Systems. Most recently he worked for Electrolux, North America. Mr. Hanner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis and obtained his Master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University.
Chief Financial Officer
Rick Dunn serves as PowerTeam’s Chief Financial Officer and joined us in February 2018. Mr. Dunn brings over 25 years of financial leadership to PowerTeam that includes executive roles in both public and private companies as well 10 years in public accounting. Most recently, Mr. Dunn was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ACN, Inc. (a wireless operator and energy reseller) and previously was Chief Financial Officer of Trilogy International Partners (a wireless carrier), and Corporate Controller for Western Wireless International. In addition, his experience includes 10 years with the public accounting firm of Grant Thornton LLP. He received his BBA from Pacific Lutheran University and MBA from Seattle University and is an alumnus of Stanford University’s Executive Program. Mr. Dunn is also a licensed CPA.
Vice President, Information Technology
Martin Glasmacher serves as Vice President of Information Technology at PowerTeam Services. He joined PowerTeam in July 2017 and brings more than 20 years of IT leadership experience across multiple industries and sets PowerTeam Services IT and digital strategies. Previously, Martin served as CIO at Voith North America, where he led a global team responsible for implementing IT and digital strategies with solutions, and global information tools to drive business and customer growth. His responsibilities encompassed ERP, CRM, cloud infrastructure, global networks, customer applications, and global R&D for enterprise mobility technology. Mr. Glasmacher holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from BK for Technology School and is an alumnus of Voith’s Executive Leadership Academy.
Vice President, Finance
Mr. Ridout was named VP Finance of PowerTeam Services in May 2014 and has more than 25 years of experience in finance, accounting and management. Previously, he served as VP Finance at Custom Building Products. Mr. Ridout has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University and is a Certified Management Accountant.
